Capital Campaign Prayer

The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed; it is the smallest of all the seeds, yet it becomes a large bush, and the ‘birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.Come Lord, come among us, because only you know what we need.  Be with us as we plant and nurture the seeds here in your garden.     With your help, Lord, let us place the small seed needed to grow, and invite all whom you send to dwell in safety and peace.                                                       In your grace, Lord, allow us to know what our commitment should be as we seek to serve you.  Give us the courage to be open to your will as you guide our efforts.  We thank you for our parish, for what it is and for what it shall be.                                                       Lord, you are in this garden place, may our hands and hearts respond to your love.  Amen.
